The Voice and X-Factor finales; Holiday Specials

Last week, there was a mix of season finales and Holiday specials airing during prime time. The following ratings are courtesy of Bill Brioux:

The Fall finale of Hawaii Five-O broke the 2-million mark, the largest audience for the reality show this season.

The Top 3 show of the Voice featured the final performances of the three finalists plus musical guests Rihanna, The Killers, Bruno Mars, and Kelly Clarkson. Although the Top 3 show wasn't able to retain Canadian viewers into the finale, it still reached (1.388 million) a very similar audience level as the previous season's finale in May (1.382 million).

Compared to last year, the finale of the X-Factor viewership decreased by 8.64 percent from 2.002 million to 1.829 million viewers. Last year, Justin Bieber, Stevie Wonder, Leona Lewis, Pitbull, 50 Cent, and Ne-Yo were some of the musical guests. This year's finale featured Pitbull and...One Direction. Yikes.

Now, the Holiday specials:

Interestingly, the Tim Allen Santa Clause movies gained viewers as the week progressed and as the films became more recent.

Note: the "Cdn Country Music: Home For Holidays" is actually the Canadian Country Music Association.

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,
Had a very low rating,
And if you ever saw it,
It is quite frustrating.

Please don't ever sing this at your family Christmas dinner.
