We add two data categories using
this week's data and the previous week's. The “+/-” is
calculated as the difference in the Average Minute Audience
between the two weeks and the “% ∆” is calculated as the percentage change in the Average Minute
Audience between the two weeks.
A few non-data related symbols or
abbreviations should be explained. The “Prev” category denotes
the ranking of the program from the previous week. A (-) denotes the
program not appearing in the previous week's Top 30 programs. (If it isn't clear, all rankings are from BBM Canada.)
Here are a few things of interest from
the table above:
- Anger Management managed to make its way back into the Top 30 after disappearing from the list for a couple of weeks.
- NCIS nearly doubled its viewership from a week before. Approximately the same audience level watched LA NCIS immediately after.
- After being moved to Wednesday at 9 pm from Tuesday at 10 pm, Criminal Minds received a 35% boost in viewership from the previous week. CTV has kept Criminal Minds in this time slot this past week too.
- Castle suffered a significant reduction in audience size as it dropped by more than 40% from the previous week.
- Another scheduling change at CTV had CSI being moved back to its regular time slot at 10 pm from 8 pm, which explains the 34% increase in viewership as it matches a similar viewership level from a couple of weeks back.
- None of CTV's Big Bang Saturday night shows cracked the Top 30 list. At least one of shows from the weekly two-hour block, which began on October 13, has appeared on the Top 30 lists until this most recent week.
