Sunday's overnights; Amazing Race finale viewers lower than premiere

Sunday's overnight ratings via Bill Brioux:

The viewership of the Amazing Race 21st season finale (2.527 million) is lower than the most-watched episode of the season on October 28, which was seen by 2.726 million viewers, according to BBM Canada. While the finale couldn't match the audience size of the season premiere (2.633 million viewers), it did beat last year's season 19 finale (2.485 million viewers) in December, an increase of 1.69%. Still, the early estimate is a disappointing one.

This is a rare occurrence for CBC to be beating CTV at any primetime slot (besides Saturday night hockey, of course), but they did it with Heartland facing family-oriented programming, back-to-back Prep & Landing Christmas specials produced by Disney.
